All Roads Point North
When all roads point north and you are trying to force yourself to go south just because of your mind, your soul will tell you. it will feel painful , like resistance, not smooth, not flowing.
No matter what your mind is saying, all roads of truth, flow and heart are calling you to go north, no matter which way you look at it and whatever logic you throw at it, all roads point north, it’s like a diversion, you try to go south with force, and then the road switches into a u turn, if you keep doing that, you will be full of u turns which are trying to send you north always.
It will be a lot of energy spent, it’s a lot of pain, a lot of resentment. The heart is a magnet force, a compass, and you must follow it, when you let go and let the magnet pull you north, you feel this moment of AHHH, release, like being swept by the sea’s natural current, letting it take you away instead of trying to swim away.
Going against the grain of your mind is good, but going against the grain of your heart will just hurt you even if it doesn’t hit right now, the u turns will keep occurring to point you north, because all roads point north from the heart. Enjoy it, even if it’s scary, even if your mind is saying no, you know deep down inside that you are being drawn north, so don’t try to go south anymore.
One mind versus the ultimate collective consciousness, you stand no chance. That’s why it hurts, that’s why overthinking always hurts, because ego never wins, it’s the force of good vs bad in superheroes movies, good always prevails, ego never leads to freedom. Ask anyone who has ever earnt a lot of money by malice, a part of them dies inside.
Anyone who’s ever acted out of ego and power cravings, it feels fun but it’s never feeling true, any distraction, any act of forcing a feeling, forcing anything, it feels like it isn’t true, a part of us knows.
Go with the pain of not listening to your mind, because it’s really pleasure, you know it inside.
The soul is tapping us on the shoulder saying hey, this isn’t you, who’s driving this car, the ego, whilst you are in the backseat being taken for a ride south, knowing you don’t really want to go there.
It’s reminding us that the truth is there if we just listen, if we take the wheel, we will realise — All roads point north.
